In summer 2026, handmade bracelets created by NISSIMOU volunteer Pascale Ecarot brought together creativity, community support and awareness of neurodiversity on Spetses, celebrating inclusion through a simple but meaningful gesture.

On January 16th, Nissimou visited the first-grade classes of Spetses Primary School to talk about autism, inclusion, and neurodiversity through experiential activities that encouraged understanding and acceptance.

The #OurSpecialStory campaign by HOUSEHUB and NISSIMOU gives a voice to families raising children with neurodiverse needs in Greece. Launching November 2025, it highlights their experiences with inclusion at home, in the community, and at school. Families can share their testimonials by emailing from November 1–30, 2025.
